Dr.Jignesh Shah is Founder and CEO of UTSAV-The Institute of Celebration of Life. The philosophy of the institute is “WALK THE TALK”, it means, we believe in delivering what we speak or claim. Not only delivering what we speak or claim but we also do the handholding for successful implementation of our recommendations.
A Master’s Degree in Social work (MSW) and Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial relations and Personnel Management from M S University, Baroda. He also holds an MBA – in HR from Newport University – USA and has been awarded Doctorate in Organizational Leadership.
An HR icon who has excelled in establishing innovative HR systems and institutionalizing a strong performance-driven culture across various organizations. In his illustrious HR career of about 35 years, Dr Jignesh Shah has worked with some of the top Engineering, Pharma, Petrochemical, Polyester, FMCG, Power, and Infrastructure companies.
Inter-Organizational Knowledge sharing by serving as a Guest faculty, Guest speaker as well and Panellist to various reputed B Schools, Universities as well and Management Associations.
Having worked with a multi-generational workforce, Dr. Jignesh Shah has witnessed the transition of the HR function from a personnel department to a progressive HR department. His passion for the HR profession, eagerness to learn new things, and an attitude of embracing and accepting change positively helped him ride this transition wholeheartedly and with sheer excellence.
With a strong understanding of business, Dr. Jignesh Shah is skilled in designing and developing various avenues of managing human resources which includes Strategic Manpower Planning, Recruitment and Selection, HR Policies and Practices, Competency Mapping, Compensation and Reward Systems, Performance Management, Training and Development, Labour Compliances, Employee Counselling and Wellness, Employee Engagement, Capacity Building and Succession Planning, Grievance Redressal and Union Negotiations.
His exemplary contribution in the field of HR has lead Dr. Jignesh Shah earns multiple accolades. Some of these include Most Influencing HR Leader in India, Best Innovation in HR, Best Employee Engagement Professional, Best CHRO. He has also succeeded in registering his name amongst 100 HR super achievers and Asia’s 100 Powerful HR leaders. Dr. Jignesh Shah is also a certified Multistyle Yoga teacher. He has earned Life Time Achievement Award. He was presented Global Education Mentor Award2024 by Shiksha 360.
He has passed the online proficiency test for Independent Director under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. Recently on his 60th Birthday, he launched his maiden book titled -UTSAV-The Celebration of Life. The book is a unique value proposition, with candid thoughts, outstanding experiences and remarkable initiatives that enrich the personal and Professional life of an individual.
